Included are poems, drawings and collages created by Kid Power volunteers in 2008 at the Portola Branch Library. Kid Power is a program at the San Francisco Public Library for students entering middle school through high school to volunteer to help run the library's summer reading program. Each branch has its own set of volunteers. The contents of this binder were likely created and assembled at the Portola Branch Library during the summer of 2008 and probably initiated by the branch manager and/or children’s librarian.
