Folder: S.F. Theaters-Alcazar (New).
Printed on back: "Each time Marjorie Lord sold a ticket today, yesterday (Monday, May 7) for The Guardsmen big benefit drawing on June 7, she helped speed an underprivileged child on a summer camp vacation. The lovely star of 'Anniversary Waltz' is one of a large volunteer corp of prominent men and women who will devote spare time this month to help The Guardsmen reach a fund drive goal of $100,000.
The sum is urgently needed if the organization of young businessmen are to meet 1956 campership requirement. Miss Lord, celebrating the 26th week of the stage show at the Alcazar Theater, demonstrates her other talent as sidewalk saleslady. Mrs. Lucy Guerra, her two children, Arthur, 4, and Linda, 2, have just bought three tickets from Miss Lord, left, which will entitle them to participate in a drawing for four Plymouth station wagons, four 21" color TV sets and a $1500 ranch mink stole. The Guerras live at 443 29th Street, here."
