Much of it belonged to his father, Charles Ackerman, one of the founders of the famed Orpheum circuit. Irving Ackerman is shown here looking through a collection of Orpheum playbills. Under his arm is a picture of Marco Wolff and Fanchon Simon when Fanchon and Marco were a pair of rising young San Francisco dancers. In the background is a picture of the late Sid Graumann."
