Newscopy: "Enjoying the freedom of romping in their spacious play yard are these youngsters attending the newly-opened Noriega Home School which was built during the past year at a cost of $300,000. In the words of its principal, Mrs. Marjorie S. Tuft, it is 'a small school for small children close to home.' It is part of a new Department of Education program to provide many neighborhood schools for children aged 4 to 7 so that the transition from home life to a school environment will be as easy as possible. School was originally planned to teach up to third grade classes, but is full now."
