Newscopy: "Worshippers at the termination of their pilgrimage to the outdoor shrine in the schoolyard of St. Anne of the Sunset Church, singing the Hymn to St. Anne before the altar. The Novena to St. Anne was ending today with the feast of the saint and solemn devotions all day. Yesterday more than 25,000 men, women and children paid homage with prayers and hymns to the 'Mother of Mothers' in the annual outdoor procession of the Most Blessed Sacrament to St. Anne at the Funston-av and Judah-st church. Kneeling reverently as the Blessed Sacrament was borne past in the procession by Bishop Thomas A. Connolly, the throng crowded the streets from curb to curb. Priests, acolytes and a guard of honor surrounded the canopy of crimson and gold under which Bishop Connolly walked, carrying the Blessed Sacrament. The procession and worshippers massed in the church schoolyard before an altar erected for the benediction. All were united in prayer for peace uttered in the address by the Rev. Father F.
