Newscopy: "PEBBLES TELL CRUCIFIXION STORY--Rev. William Baker of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in San Francisco, stands beneath recently completed 22-foot mosaic of the crucifixion scene above the church altar that is made entirely of small pebbles. The impressive display is the work of the pastor's wife, Mrs. Margaret Baker, who used small stones from the oceanside which she sorted out according to their various hues before affixing them in place. No artificial coloring of any kind was used. The project took two year of part-time work.".
