Newscopy: "Two of the 70 murals that depict a Persian love legend in the newly opened lounge and cocktail bar of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. The story illustrates the adventures of a Persian prince, bored with living, who follows his dream of a lovely woman to a magic isle, where he meets, woos and wins her. The upper mural is titled 'The Dream'; the lower, 'The Wedding.' The process which is used so effectively by A. B. Heinsbergen, the artist, is an illusion of a steel-engraved background done by use of silver-leaf applied over the carved wood. The figures are painted to resemble old ivory paintings. Colored lights playing over the surface of these murals serve to enhance their loveliness. Mr. Heinsbergen is well known for his work at the Elks Club, the Olympic Club, in Los Angeles and Washington.".
