Printed on back: "This photo was taken on January 13 - camera was on Seventh street (Bryant street on the right). It shows that pile foundations have all been driven, that the foundation contract of $890,000 is about 98 percent complete, according to assistant city architect John Devitt. It also shows that the main contract, held by M. and K. Corporation, in amount of $13,508,000, is well under way. Elevator contract for $465,888 and landscaping for $30,500 - as well as the $890,000 foundation contract - give the new Hall of Justice a price tag of $14,894,388. A new picture of the job would show a little more progress than this one."
