Newscopy: "Potrero-av is a heavily traveled street, but it did double duty late yesterday on its southbound lanes as peninsulans who took to their cars because of the rail strike drove home. This picture was shot from atop the Borden Dairy Co. tower just north of Army-st and Potrero-av looking south. Note the contrast between traffic in the north and south bound lanes."
Written on back: "S. P. switchmen on strike over contract disagreement. Strike was not stated strike, men were home wi excuse they were 'sick.'".
