Newscopy: "Here we are boys and girls, looking at one of the busiest intersections in the old town--Stockton, Ellis, and Market-sts. Picture was taken yesterday during one of the last rains of 1943. As you San Franciscans will see, we;re looking up Stockton-st. Nope, the corner hasn't changed much. Stockton-st cars still weave around traffic; pedestrians still jump signals and get whistled at by traffic cops, and autos still go through the signal across the street where Fourth comes in and the coppers don't seem to see 'em".
