Newscopy: "Delightful noises of traffic, fragrant gas fumes, and melodious screams of hysterical pedestrians once again filled the Market-Fourth-Stockton-Ellis intersection today as the two-month bottleneck ended. Smooth pavement and new streetcar tracks replaced a gaping hole, and Monday the F line will begin its first trips across the slot."
