Newscopy: "San Francisco's famed Market street-the street of ten thousand parades-never saw one more impressive than that which today paid official tribute to the heroes of Bataan. Nobody needed brass bands. The crowd, part of which is shown here, sometimes stood silent, sometimes cheered. And there were many spectators who wept."
