Printed on back: "News Bureau, Pan American World Airways - Karen Chong, 11, grade student at St. Mary's Chinese School, aided by Rosemary Morgan, tries on one of a shipment of embroidered uniform belts which arrived yesterday (Tuesday) by Pan American Clipper from China. The replica of the Manchu warrior belts were obtained by Dr. Chu Chew Shong, principal of St. Mary's Chinese School who is vacationing in Hong Kong and rushed to San Francisco for tonight's Portola parade.".
