Newscopy: "FENCE NO PROTECTION AT ABANDONED QUARRY--Here's the scene at the top of the quarry cliff where two youngsters fell Tuesday, injuring one of them fatally. There's a five-strand barbed wire fence around the top, but youngsters can squeeze through. The News' Mr. Fixit called attention to the danger in a story published in 1950.
