Folder: S.F. Banks-Crocker First National.
On back: "WINDOWLESS LIGHT---'Paint out the sun, let in the light' is the motto in this clerical room of the Crocker First National Bank of San Francisco, where lighting engineers of the Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company did just that to eliminate the glare and shadow of sunlight. By covering over the windows and substituting 130 indirect fixtures, they distributed an even 30 footcandles of illumination in the room, banished eyestrain and increased the workers' accuracy.".
