Folder: S.F. Banks-Donohoe, Kelly Banking Co.
Newscopy: "At Sutter and Montgomery-sts, where the old Donohoe-Kelly Bank Building is being demolished, workmen topple two of the firm's huge safes which preserved the bank's records through the 1906 fire and earthquake. The nearer safe weighs 30 tons; the one still in the air, 15 tons. The Bigge Drayage and Rigging Co. of Oakland, handled the removal job. A third, 20-ton, safe still is to be pulled from the wall and taken away; it's in the pile of masonry beneath the falling safe."
