Folder: S.F. Banks-Wells Fargo.
Newscopy: "Piledriving has come a long way since 'Albert the Monster' reverberated through the Financial District a decade ago. Now the piles are dropped in holes, rather than driven all the way. More and bigger pilings are being driven for the city's tallest skyscraper at Sutter and Montgomery Streets in a fraction of the time and with far less noise. Less than two dozen have been sunk so far, but 430 all told will be driven for the foundation of the $20 million, 43-story Wells Fargo Bank Building."
