Newscopy: "The News Big Eye camera this week perched itself on Buena Vista Hill and peered out to sea - and here's what it saw. In the foreground is famed Kezar Stadium, scene of the annual East-West Shrine game, and currently undergoing a seat repair program in advance of the not-too-far-off football season. Five of six buildings in the block just east of Kezar (towards the camera) are due for purchase and razing by the city to provide for expansion of the stadium. That's Frederick-st to the left of the stadium, and large building whose front can be seen directly across Frederick from Kezar is Polytechnic High School. At the right is Golden Gate Park, stretching all the way to the sea, with the homes of the Sunset District marching along Lincoln-way, on its southern flank. Looking closely along the park skyline, a short distance from where Lincoln-way runs into the beach, you can see one upthrust arm of the park windmill, largest in the world.
