Newscopy: "BENEFIT HOUSE TOUR--Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Smith's historic residence at 825 Francisco-st will be one of the six 'Hill-top' houses opened next Tuesday between 1:30 and 5 p. m. for the benefit of the California School of Fine Arts. Mrs. Francis V. Keesling Jr., standing, whose husband is president of the San Francisco Art Association, is shown here in the handsome art-filled dining room of the Smith home. Mrs. Smith, a decorator in her own right, is seated holding her siamese cat, Ohmi, with Mrs. Harold Boucher (Marjorie Gavin) right. The magnificent crystal chandelier was purchased in Vienna by the Smiths. At either side of the huge window overlooking a handsome formal garden are two orange-colored Chinese fish bowls planted with philodendron."
