Newscopy: This 10-ton ladle being processed at the Bethlehem Pacific San Francisco yard is being removed from a furnace after undergoing a stress relieving process requiring it to be in 1200 degree temperature for 36 hours. It and the one behind has an 85-ton capacity. Both will be used at the firm's San Francisco Steel Plant. The ladle stands 13 feet, six inches high, is 10 feet in diameter on the top and 8 feet at the bottom.".
