Newscopy: "Rainy weather increases the headache of Municipal Railway operations superintendents, but a perennial problem they've encountered in the past has been solved with completion of the automatic bus washer pictured above. It's one of many installations at Muni's new bus yard on Ocean-av at San Jose-av. The gadget is equiped with double electric eye controls, revolving brushes and high-pressure water sprays which put vehicles back into a state of cleanliness in a jiffy or two."
