Newscopy: "A FIELD DAY FOR CRITICS--Sculptor Benny Bufano (center) and Mayor George Christopher, a surprise visitor, inspect some of the works of art at upper Grant Avenue Fair yesterday. The fair, which had to fight for its existence in the face of opposition from both police and fire departments, drew some 35,000 visitors. Works of some 70 artists were displayed."
