Newscopy: "CHESS MATES TRYING FOR A CHECKMATE--Television is forgotten as Ray Schwatka of San Francisco and Joy Plummer of Petaluma, both 15, concentrate on a game of chess in the newly opened Youth Floor at Children's Hospital. The floor, staffed by internists and pediatricians, as well as consultants in all of the specialties, is designed for special in-hospital care for patients from 12 to 20 years of age. One of its features is a social room for games, reading and TV. It also contains a record player and radio and provides space for patients to visit with each other.".
