On back: "HERE'S THE REAL LOWDOWN ON THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE--These engineers got right down to fundamentals in connection with construction of the big suspension bridge across the Golden Gate, entrance to San Francisco Bay. The trio is 107 feet below the surface of the Pacific Ocean studying the foundation for one of the piers, and telephoning their geological findings to the surface. The men made the decent in an electrically lighted "inspection well". Russell G. Cone, resident engineer, Golden Gate Bridge and Highway Districts is shown phoning.
