Newscopy: "Sturdy rigging today raised the first great beam of steel for the $2,250,000 bay bridge railway terminal. Photo shows the forty-three foot transverse arch girder hoisted into position at First and Minna streets, connecting center and west sections of terminal. This and other mammoth cross beams will carry the tracks from bridge to terminal."
