Newscopy: "INSIDE A CABLE TUNNEL--This tunnel into the west side of Yerba Buena Island will serve to anchor one of the huge cables of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Three tunnels are being bored into the west side of the Yerba Buena Island, two being small cable anchorage tunnels like the above pictured, and one huge bore 58 feet high and 76 feet wide, which will carry two decks of automobiles, trucks and street-cars."
