HUGHSON, 1st FORD DEALER, VISITS PLANT--DEARBORN, MICH., June 3.-- Headed by William L. ("Billy") Hughson, San Francisco, first Ford dealer in the world, eight old time Ford dealers from all over the United States are here today to help Ford Motor Company celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. Each of them knew and worked with the late Henry Ford in the early days of the company. They are guests of Henry Ford II, president, and members of the company's administrative committee. Coincident with Hughson's arrival here, the Ford Motor Company released the foregoing photograph on file at the company's archives, showing Hughson and a group of persons standing in front of a shack in San Francisco from which he did business for several weeks following the San Francisco earthquake. The Army built the shack in compensation for having commandeered all of Hughson's cars for emergency service. Hughson is third man from the right, sporting a long moustache and drayman's cap." .
