Newscopy: "Injured during this morning's battle between police and CIO pickets, John A. Gomez, 29, is shown in the gutter when he collapsed an hour later outside the Euclid Candy Co. Mr. Gomez returned to the picket line after he had been treated for a cut scalp and released on bail on charges of failing to obey police orders to move on. This picture, snapped a second after Mr. Gomez fell, shows other pickets turning around, the woman on the left raising her hand to her face in alarm."
