Folder: S.F. Strikes-1949-Cable Cars.
Newscopy: "The right of free workers to picket is upheld by law and public opinion. The California Street Cable Railroad is being struck - but when News-Acme Cameraman McCarty went out to photograph the event he found the strikers baffled by the problem of... what to picket. Their place of employment is 59,000 feet of track on California, O'Farrell, Jones, Pine and Hyde-sts. He rousted the boys out of a coffee shop near the office, however, and got them to parade in front of the symbolic poster shown."
