Newscopy: "Mrs. Pauline Spencer, tenant at the Sunnydale Housing Project, looks on with disapproval as torn-out fences pile up in front of her home. Mrs. Spencer and some of the other project tenants are dissatisfied with a project order to remove fences from their back yards to make way for landscaping of part of the area. The Spencers claim 5-year-old Joyce and 18-month-old Janice need the protection of their white fence to keep them from wandering into the street. They got permission to take it down themselves and move it to a lot they own. Other fences are being torn down by work crews."
