On back: "ANZAC MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES FOR WAR DEAD HELD FOR FIRST TIME ON WEST COAST - Memorial Day services for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps War Dead were held on April 25 at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the San Francisco National Cemetery at the Presidio. On this day, sacred to the memory of all Australians and New Zealanders the two countries commemorate the landing of their Army Corps on the Gallipolian Peninsula and honor the memory of all men who fought in battle since that time. This year the services included those who gave their lives in World War II and marked the first occasion of commemoration held on the West Coast...".
