Newscopy: "The men who died in World War I were remembered today in Armistice Day ceremonies all over the nation. Here in San Francisco top officials of the service organizations gathered at the National Cemetery in the Presidio to pay homage to the unknown soldier dead. The rifle squad to the left saluted their dead comrades with a volley. Earlier an outdoor requiem mass was sung for those who were killed in the war which now seems so far away and dim."
Written on back: "Kneeling, L to R.: Gerald J. O'Gara (later Municipal Court Judge); unknown, John Sullivan, city and county supervisor; unknown. Directly behind Supervisor Sullivan and wearing glasses is Superior Court Judge Edward Mohlkenbuhr."
