Curved Dash Olds Light Runabout. While waiting for the Oakland Ferry in front of San Francisco's Ferry Building, Hammond, the co-driver snapped the picture at 2:45 p. m. They were starting their historic drive, the first ever made from San Francisco to Boston. Time - 75 days! From the Whitman-Hammond scrapbook collection."
