Newscopy: "Rain in Spain, maybe, but certainly there was none on the 'plain' before the Opera House yesterday where thousands lined up through the day to buy tickets for 'My Fair Lady,' which opens July 8 for six weeks run. Ticket buyers began lining up at 10 p.m. Saturday, and by late yesterday 8600 had paid more than $100,000. Ticket sales continue today, with good seats still available, according to an Opera House spokesman - 50,000 are for sale."
