Newscopy: "MRS. WILLIAM McKEEN. Above the west slope of Bayshore-blvd., near Cortland-st, residents of Franconia-st (that little dirt road you see winding away in the background) are working themselves into a quiet frenzy these days, and all because they're about to be cut off from the rest of the world. Up to now their means of egress from their homes (all four are shown here) was along Franconia-st and through the lot to which Mrs. McKeen is pointing (between the nearest house and the fence in the foreground, right). Now the owner of the lot is building a tennis court there - you can see the uprights already in place - and cars can't enter or leave Franconia-st. What folks living there wish the city would do is grade off the hill shown in the immediate foreground, sloping up toward the camera, so that contact may be made with a road on which the cameraman was standing when he took the picture."
