Newscopy: "The Christmas spirit was ringing merrily and musically yesterday for neighborhood kids in the firehouse at 36 Bluxome-st, which houses Engine 35 and Truck 8. The firemen were entertaining and passing out candy and ice cream. Then they all disappeared, jumped on their trucks parked across the street, and went to a fire. It happened so fast most of the kids didn't know it - but they'd had a good time, anyway."
