Newscopy: WINDJAMMERS OF OLDEN DAYS AGAIN AT WORK -- The picturesque old windjammer of bygone days is coming back. Western lumber producers have found that inasmuch as speed is not an item in getting their product from forest to consumer, they can handle the transportation much more cheaply by using the windjammer, and utilizing air currents instead of fuel as motive power. Consequently a fleet of windjammers is being assembled on the Pacific Coast and the picturesque vessels will soon be a common sight on the high seas. This picture shows one of the windjammers tied up at the docks in Los Angeles Harbor. B-WFM 1-WOA 9/15/23."
