Weber built this press in the Weber plant. Weber built this press literally from spare parts and scrap to break bottlenecks in parts for the Maritime Commissions shipbuilding program. Weber, who made showcases before the war, is noted for bottleneck breaking and ingenious methods of speeding production of innumerable war items, and his processes for multiple production of badly needed rafts is turning them out by the hundreds in the Weber plant. 4/27/44.
