Newscopy: "...AND THEN I LET HIM HAVE IT!-Robert Saulis, 68, owner of the Village Food Shop at 2809 Geary boulevard, tells police officer Paul McGoran how age triumphed over youth with a gun last night. Saulis slammed a hard right to the head of young armed hoodlum who walked into the store and snarled: "Give me the money, pop!" The bandit got off the floor, clouted Saulis on the head with his gun and fled. The store owner was treated for a scalp laceration at Park Emergency hospital.-Call-Bulletin Photo. (Mar. 5, 1954)"
