Newscopy: "Policeman Pat Shannon looks at the boys' fishing gear on pier.--Woman sees pair--Two teen-age boys drowned in the Bay today just off the fleet landing at the Ferry Bldg. The bodies of Ronald Chu, 1743 Larkin St., and Michael Lew were recovered by the firemen a few hours after they fell into the Bay. The tragedy was reported to police by Mrs. Christine Josefe, 1121 Leavenworth St., who said she was eating her lunch on the wharf near two boys 15 or 16 years old who were fishing off the pier."
