Newscopy: "VALENTINO, IN DETROIT, CORRECTS TWO IMPRESSIONS -- Valentino, the idol of feminine film fans, is in Detroit with Mrs. Valentino, whom the California courts assert is still Miss Winifred Hudnut, and rises to correct two erroneous impressions. The first correction is the spelling of his first name, which he says should be written R-U-D-O-L-P-H, just like that. The second impression is that which has generally been overlooked - the fact that he is a regular he-man, and not a sweet young thing sitting on velvet cushions and smoking perfumed cigarettes. And hark, ye feminine fans, he says that 'The Shiek' was one of the worst film productions he ever appeared in, that it was pure dime novel stuff, and not the high class of art he hopes to attain. He and Mrs. Valentino are to appear in a special dancing exhibition in Detroit."
