Folder: S.F. Protests and Picketing-1950.
Newscopy: "When V.L. Henderson of Local 148, A.F.L. barbers union, showed up today to picket the Postoffice Barber Shop, 84 Seventh-st. two small marchers tagged along behind him, asking on their placard why the union doesn't go after the larger shops. They are (left to right), George, 6, and Roscoe, 7, sons of shop owner Charles Chavez (in the doorway). A union spokesman reported pickets appear whenever justified-today they are also at 424 Market-st and 520 Market-st. Mr. Chavez does not have a union shop."
