Newscopy: "PICKETS MARCH IN PROTEST AGAINST THE SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES CONTROL BOARD HEARING AT THE NEW MINT, 131 HERMAN ST.--A woman disclosed here Tuesday that she had been a government operative within the Communist Party for nine years. She is plump, graying, Mrs. Llulu Thimpson, a key government witness at the Subversive Activities Control Board hearing on Albert J. (Micky) Lima, 54. The government is seeking to require Lima to register as a Communist Party member under the Internal Security Act. Mrs. Thompson identified Lima as a national and northern California Communist Party leader. The San Joaquin County housewife said she joined the party herself in June of 1953 at the request of the FBI. She testified she reported to the FBI throughout the nine years, until March....[cuts off]."
