Written on back: "Air Explorer Scouts are busy with charts and models of planes they will use in their 'Model Air Field' booth at the 1956 Boy Scout Exposition, coming to the Cow Palace, April 20-21. Left to right gathered around a basement work table are: Balfour Chinn, 14, 1050 Washington St.; Russell Woo, 15, 2240 Ryon St.; and Melvin Lee, 14, 1070-B Washington St., all members of Air Explorer Squadron 211 of the San Francisco Boy Scout Council. Nearly 10,000 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Explorers are working all over the city on the 300 booth exhibits they will fill with displays showing the entire range of Scouting skills, crafts, hobbies, games and sports."
