SOME 10,000 women, recruited through the P-TA, Catholic parent-teachers groups and the school department, will be guided by Mrs. Harry C. Valdespino, mother of two small children, whose husband was stricken with polio in 1952. She said that more than 80,000 polio victims, 214 in San Francisco alone, depending on the March of Dimes. THIS YEAR'S drive, which has been lagging, more than ever needs the mothers' march for its success, J.W. Mailliard III, campaign chairman, said. 'Even if you have given before, please, if you possibly can, give again', Mailliard appealed. San Franciscans are asked to turn on porch lights at 7 p.m. when the march starts."
