Written on back: "Second section of Central Freeway, now being built between South Van Ness and Turk street, will look much like this, state engineers say. The reinforced concrete columns (three in number) at the 144-foot long Market street crossing will be seven feet by five feet in size, with the seven-foot side paralleling Market. One set of columns will be in the triangular piece bounded by Market, Valencia and McCoppin streets, the other across market in the block bounded by Market, Octavia and Haight".
