Donor description: House at Steiner Street from the late 1800's survived the eartquake but not redevelopment in 1960's; it was leveled by the city. Fought the city and won a larger settlement. Photo taken maybe early 1940's. Donor lived there until the 1960's. Libby Holman lived in the basement apartment (cabaret singer) in the 1920's.
