Donor description: Middle left, first person: Juanita. Next to Juanita: Concepcion (grandmother). In Juanita's lap: Christine. Next to Christine: Virginia (aunt). With suspenders, top right: Delfin Sr. (grandfather). Christmas party.
Mr. L. and grandfather Delfin served in the military together and stationed at Leyte together. So they had a dance in Concepcion's hometown to welcome the infantry soldiers. Mr. L. was Concepcion's date, Juanita was Delfin's date, and they switched at the dance. Both families immigrated to the U.S. after WW2 and remained close.
