Donor description: Neighbor Ludy and students at Filipino Ed (currently Bessie Carmichael). Students playing, at Filipino Ed (4th and Townsend Streets).
Many photos in this collection were taken at a Public Filipino School. Students would attend a Filipino culture program before enrolling in public school - John's case: Bessie Carmichael. As of about 5 years ago, these two schools merged into one. Filipino Ed started around 1974 and eventually merged with Bessie Carmichael.
