Folder: S.F. Streets-Grant-1940's.
Newscopy: "Silver and paper money totaling $1832 rained down yesterday on a giant flag of the Chinese Republic as it was carried down Grant-av in observance of China's Double Ten Day, the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the republic. An audience of several thousand lined the sides of the narrow street, while others leaned from flag-decked balconies. The parade ended at the Mandarin Theater, where addresses were given by the Chinese consul general and other dignitaries."
